After decades in Chicago, Devon Nytko found her way back to Perrysville, Ohio, to build the log home she had always dreamed of—one deeply connected to her past. Inspired by Hochstetler’s McKay model, she customized the design with a breezeway and garage, working closely with her Amish builder to bring it to life. Inside, heirloom antiques, sliding barn doors, and a massive pine mantel from her own land create a home rich with history and warmth. Every detail, from the hand-crafted laundry room cabinets to the rustic hickory kitchen, reflects her love of wood and treasured family memories.
