Perched atop a scenic hill on their 17-acre horse farm between Canton and New Philadelphia, Ohio, Clayton and Susan Livengood’s dream log home is the culmination of 20 years of planning. Designed with help from Hochstetler Log Homes, this custom-built retreat blends rustic elegance with energy-efficient features, including radiant floor heating. Inside, a Southwest-inspired design incorporates barn-style Amish-crafted doors, Italian tile, and a real wood-burning fireplace. With six porches and a sunroom overlooking a waterfall and rock garden, their home offers breathtaking views and a perfect connection to the outdoors.
