Emily and Jeff Allison joke that they designed their log vacation home in Southeastern Ohio around where the Christmas tree would go. Their Hochstetler Log Home designer even noted the location of the tree in the floor plans. And, the kitchen island the couple envisioned is big enough for all the Christmas cookies Emily loves to bake. Of course not every day the Allisons spend in their home is a holiday, but they do say it feels as warm and cozy as Christmas.
