For John and Corinna Patak, building a log home was a long-held dream, and when they found the perfect property next to Corinna’s father, they knew it was time. Inspired by a local log home and guided by Hochstetler Log Homes, they designed a modified Sweetwater plan with a prow front to capture the stunning views. Their home blends warm wood tones, a soaring stone fireplace, and an inviting open-concept layout that welcomes family and friends for holidays and their annual July 4th gathering. Now, their dream home isn’t just a place to live—it’s a space to share and celebrate.
