For Tim and Amy Muchnok, building a log cabin wasn’t just about having a retreat—it was about creating a legacy. After finding an 80-acre farm in need of transformation, they cleared old barns, built a stocked lake, and designed a home that blends hunting tradition with family gatherings. Working with Hochstetler Log Homes, they customized their plan to include large prow-front windows, a hand-peeled center post, and a finished basement for guests. Now, surrounded by wildlife and breathtaking views, their log home is the perfect getaway for making lifelong memories.
