Conaway Log Home Images

Ohio

High on a wooded hill near Newark, Ohio, Bob and Crystal Conaway built a log home that blends rustic charm with their deep appreciation for primitive antiques. Their vision took shape over a decade, starting with a search for land close to work and family. When they found 42 acres of mature oak, hickory, and poplar trees, they knew it was the perfect setting. With the shell built by Woodland Rose Log Homes, Bob and Crystal tackled the interior themselves, ensuring every detail—from an antique-finish buffet-turned-kitchen cabinet to wash tubs repurposed as sinks—fit their dream. Their home isn’t just a reflection of their love for log homes; it’s a tribute to creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of working together.
