Colby Log Home
Pennsylvania
High on a rocky hilltop overlooking a tributary of Salt Fork Reservoir in southeastern Ohio, Ed and Karen Colby’s log home is the perfect retreat from city life. Inspired by their visits to Hochstetler’s Log Cabin Days, they customized the Loudonville plan with an open-concept kitchen and a sunroom addition, creating a warm, inviting space. Built in just five months, the home is surrounded by towering hardwoods, natural boulders, and a quiet pond, making it a haven for both family and their ever-growing collection of farm animals. For the Colbys, this scenic slice of Ohio is truly home, sweet home.
