Hocking Hills State Park Lodge opened in 2022, framed with a structural timber package from Hochstetler. The lodge has 81 guest rooms, including rooms with private balconies or patios, plus indoor and outdoor pools and the Rock House Restaurant. Trails to the park’s waterfalls, overlooks, and rock formations start at the door.

Built in partnership with Hochstetler, the ten log cabins at Pleasant Hill Lake Park opened to guests in 2020. Each sleeps six or eight, with a queen bedroom, a bunk room, two full baths, a full kitchen, and a gas fireplace. Outside, every cabin has a porch with Adirondack chairs, a campfire ring, and a hot tub. The park surrounds an 850-acre lake with no horsepower limit, a swimming beach, a marina, fishing piers, and hiking and horse trails.

Pool House Lodge gives groups of up to 20 a private indoor pool, heated to 82 to 84 degrees year-round. The log lodge has seven bedrooms and five baths across three levels on 22 wooded acres, 11 miles from Ash Cave. A stone fireplace and vaulted log ceiling define the great room. The lower level holds an arcade game room and opens to a patio with a cedar barrel sauna and hot tub. Ramps and a roll-in shower make the lodge wheelchair-friendly.

With a fully equipped kitchen and luxurious amenities, it’s the perfect retreat for a family getaway.

Five wooded acres surround Whiskey Ridge, a log cabin about 15 miles from Old Man’s Cave, Ash Cave, and Cedar Falls. Three bedrooms, including a bunk loft, sleep up to 10. The main floor gathers around a wood-burning fireplace under a vaulted beam ceiling, with a self-serve whiskey and wine bar and a dining table for 10. Downstairs has foosball and a poker table, and outside are two decks, two fire pits, and a hot tub open all year.
