For Dave and Janet Cole, their log home is more than just a house—it’s the realization of a lifelong dream and a symbol of their renewed journey together. Nestled on 35 wooded acres in southwestern Pennsylvania, this custom-built home was inspired by a decades-old magazine clipping Dave carried with him for years. With the expert craftsmanship of Samuel Mast and his team, the home reflects the Coles’ love for rustic beauty, filled with antiques, family heirlooms, and warm personal touches. From its solid maple kitchen cabinets to the framed print of their dream home signed by the builders, every detail tells a story of perseverance, passion, and new beginnings
